Jan Kalyan Eye Hospital Samiti is a registered society under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, established on 30 April 1979 (registration year 1978–1979).

Its mission includes providing education in Medical, Paramedical, Technical fields and social services. Medical and paramedical staff of the Samiti play a crucial role in accurate diagnosis and optimum treatment, with a tradition of strong coordination between teams.

The field of Paramedical Sciences comprises Pharmacy, Optometry, Orthoptics, Sanitation, and more. Recognizing the nation’s need for efficient and skillful paramedical staff, the Samiti launched specialized institutions:
